There is an exhibition sapphire crystal display case back. The 39mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and rounded bezel are polished. It has a black opaline dial with an off-centered hour and minute subsidiary dial at the 2 o'clock position, with a luminescent rim, Roman numeral hour markers, and white gold epee hands. There is a retrograde date display between 5 and 10 o'clock, with a single diamond indicator that automatically slides back to the start of a month when it reaches the 31st (a manual correction is required for months less than 31 days). The constellation of Sagittarius is set in 8 fine white diamonds. It has a 68-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Jaquet Droz caliber 2650R movement is rhodium plated, with fausse cotes and hand embellishment. It has a double barrel, a straight-line escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It's constructed with 28 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and the rotor oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This watch was produced in an extremely limited edition of 8 examples.
