This is an 18K yellow gold RGM (Roland G. Murphy) William Penn Collection, reference 121. It has an alligator strap with an RGM 18k yellow gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 8 screws. The 27.5mm by 33.5mm solid two-body case, integral straight lugs, and tonneau faceted bezel are polished. The dial is silvered gold guilloche with black Roman numerals hour markers in a brushed reserve, and blued cathedral hands. There is a railway-style minute track around the perimeter, and a large radial subsidiary date dial is at 6 o'clock. There is a corrector on the case next to the winding crown for the date adjustment. It has a 42-hour power reserve sector at 1 o'clock, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding RGM / Jaquet movement is rhodium plated, with fausses côtes and cote de Geneve embellishment. The bridges and plates have fine perlage, and hand-blued screws. It's constructed with 19 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring.
