More about Automatic Pilot Watch SS

This is a 316L stainless steel Sinn Automatic Pilot Watch 556i. It has a shell cordovan strap with stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings on both sides. There is a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with, "SINN – EDELSTAHL – STOSS-SICHER – ANTIMAGNETISCH – WD. 20 BAR," and the reference number 556.2916. It has a screw-down winding crown with a dual seal crown lock and a crown protector. The 38.5mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned drilled lugs, and faceted angled bezel are bead-blasted satin finished. The dial is black with luminous baton hour markers, "Roman sword" hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and a luminous perimeter minute/second track. There is a date aperture at the 3 o'clock position, and it's water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet. It has a magnetic field protection up to 80,000 A/m. The 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Sinn Automatic Pilot Watch 556i has a mechanical automatic base ETA caliber 2824-2 movement that's rhodium-plated, with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber device. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating balance spring, an index regulator, a gold-toned rotor and a hack seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz).
