More about Vintage Diver Automatic RARE WITH BRACELET SS / SS

This is a vintage c. 1960 stainless steel Longines Diver 7150-1. It has a rare integral stainless steel bracelet with a Longines double folding deployment clasp, and a "mushroom cap" acrylic crystal. It has the original crosshatched crowns; the second crown rotates the inner bezel for the decompression times. There is a solid screw-down case back with the scuba diver raised emblem in the center. The 42mm diameter solid compressor-style two-body case, downturned lugs, bracelet, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The original black tropical patina dial has silver baton hour markers and luminous dot indices with Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, around a minute/seconds scale. The rotating inner perimeter bezel has Arabic minute markers every 15 minutes. There are luminous steel baton hands with a spade arrow pointer tip on the hour hand, and there is a center sweep seconds hand. The 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Longines Diver 7150-1 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Longines Caliber 290 movement that's rhodium plated. It's constructed with 24 jewels and a shock absorber device. There is a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
