This is a vintage c. early 1960's Heuer Pre-Carrera 3336. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. There is a screw-down solid polished case back, round chronograph pushbuttons, and a push/pull winding crown. The 34mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The original dial is silver with applied faceted baton and luminous triangular hour markers around a minute/seconds perimeter track. It has the original luminous Dauphine hands, and a center sweep chronograph hand. There are two recessed guilloche silver subsidiary dials, including a constant seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock. The 11.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Heuer Pre-Carrera 3336 has a mechanical manual winding Valjoux caliber 23 movement that's rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
