More about IWC Reference No. 3545
This is a platinum IWC Novecento, 3545. The stepped, art deco-like tonneau shaped, two-body case is polished; the leather strap has a matching platinum tang buckle. There is a screwed-down 6-screw case back. It has an astronomic perpetual calendar complication with the day sub dial at 12 o'clock, the date at 6 o'clock, and the month at 9. There is a two-digit year indicator window between 10 and 11 o'clock. The moon phase dial is at three o'clock. The dial is white with applied white gold hour indexes and feuille hands. There is an outer track with minute divisions, and it's water resistant to 3 atm.
The IWC Calibre 31062 movement is gilt brass, based on the F. Piguet Caliber 953, and with the IWC perpetual calendar mechanism module. It's constructed with 35 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
The Novecento was manufactured between 1995 and 2001. An example is on exhibition in the IWC Museum in Schaffhausen.
