This is a stainless steel Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Eight Days, reference 146.8.17. It has an alligator strap with a stainless steel double fold-over buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws. The 41.5mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished. The dial is silver with applied silver dart hour indices, Arabic numeral markers at the quarter hours, and luminous dots. It has luminous alpha hands, and an outer minute track. There is an 8-day power reserve indicator arch between 9 and 10 o'clock, and a square double date aperture window between 7 and 8 o'clock. It has a constant seconds subsidiary dial at 7 o'clock, and there is a night/day indicator between 1 and 2 o'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 877 movement, is rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a swan neck micrometer regulator, and 2 spring barrels. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
