Blancpain Tourbillon 0023, stainless steel on a stainless steel case with a stainless steel tang buckle, manual wind Blancpain caliber 25, 8 day power reserve, flying tourbillion visible from both the front and back of the case, white dial with applied roman numerals, date indicator at 9 o clock, sapphire crystal, display back, very few of these were made in steel, this one bears the serial no 2, size 34mm, thickness 8mm, Like New with original box and papers which are blank. The watch is likely from the 1990s. The watch was just completely overhauled.

This is a stainless steel Blancpain Tourbillon 0023. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown and a solid screw-down exhibition sapphire display Tourbillon case back engraved with "BLANCPAIN," and a serial number "2." The flying tourbillion and in-line escapement is visible from both the front and the case back. The 34mm diameter solid three-body case, undercut curved case band, straight lugs, and stepped bezel are polished. The dial is white with applied steel Roman numeral hour markers, and steel feuille hands. There is a subsidiary radial date aperture window at the 9 o'clock position, and a fan-shaped 8-day power reserve indicator is at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant and the 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Tourbillon 0023 has a mechanical manual winding Blancpain caliber 25 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 19 jewels, 195 components, a shock absorber device, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It includes a flying Tourbillon regulator with polished steel arms. The Blancpain Tourbillon 0023 was introduced in 1989. It was the world's first flying tourbillon as well as the thinnest.
