This is a stainless steel Nomos Glashutte Ahoi NO550. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel Nomos tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown with a crown guard, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved with "GESCHUTZTES MODELL AHOI- EDELSTAHL-WASSERDICHT BIS 29 ATM," and a serial number. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and thin rounded bezel, are polished. It has a silver plated dial with painted black baton indices and Arabic numeral hour markers at the even hours. There is a perimeter black minute scale with luminous square indices on the hours, baton hands with luminous inserts, and there is a recessed silver subsidiary running small seconds dial at 6 o'clock, with black markers and a red indicator hand. It has a 43-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet. The 10.64mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Nomos Glashutte Ahoi NO550 has a mechanical automatic self-winding in house Nomos caliber Epsilon movement. It's Rhodium plated with Glashutte ¾ plate, Glashutte ribbing and fauses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 26 jewels, a single spring barrel, blued screws, a Nivarox balance spring with a Triovis fine adjustment system, a Glucydor monometallic balance, and an Incabloc shock protection device. It includes a a stop seconds hacking device for accurate time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Nomos Glashutte Ahoi NO550 was introduced in 2013.
