It has an alligator leather strap with a matching 18k white gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings on both sides. It has a screw-down winding crown, with a solid case back secured with 4 screws. The 40mm diameter two-body case, slim rounded bezel, and angled lugs are polished. The dial is blue with applied Roman numeral hour markers at 6 and 12 o'clock, and steel baton indices. It has steel feuille hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and a perimeter 60-minute/seconds scale with Arabic numerals every five minutes. The date aperture is at 3 o'clock, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. There is a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound. The 9.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portofino Automatic IW356512 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber IWC 35110 movement that's gilt brass with oeil-de-perdrix embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber mechanism. The monometallic balance adjusts for heat, cold, and 5 positions. It includes a micrometer regulator, a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
