This is a Titanium /PVD Stainless Steel Tag Heuer Monaco 24 Chronograph CAL5110FC6265. It has a Titanium and carbide coated steel case on a black alligator strap with orange stitching with a titanium deployment buckle, and a curved faceted wrap-around scratch resistant sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coatings. It has a polished stainless steel double screw-down winding crown, angled round chronograph push buttons, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, showing the three-spoke racing steering wheel shaped rotor. The 40.5 x 59mm (including lugs) black Titanium Carbide PVD-coated case, geometric lugs, and angled bezel are brushed/polished. The case has silver bolts around the perimeter. The dial is black with polished steel rectangular hour indices with luminous inserts, around a luminous minute/second scale, and there is a luminous Arabic numeral 24 at 12 o'clock. The pointed Titanium baton hands are faceted with luminous inserts, and there is an orange center sweep chronograph hand. There are blue and orange vertical Gulf Oil racing stripes, and the corners are skeletonized, exhibiting the four orange shock absorbers arms that make the dial look as if it's floating. There is an arched date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position, and there are two recessed rectangular steel-rimmed subsidiary rotating system "half" dials resembling a racing dashboard, including a running small seconds register at 3 o'clock, and a minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock. Both sub dials have double-sided hands; the orange hand indicating the first “half” of a timing event (0-30 seconds on the left-hand sub-dial), and the silver end represents the second “half” of 30-60 seconds. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. It has a 50-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Tag Heuer Monaco 24 Chronograph CAL5110FC6265 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber Tag 36 (Zenith El Primero caliber 400) column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 31 jewels, 278 components, and an advanced dynamic shock absorption system that allows the watch to survive a 20 meter fall. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 36,000 vph (5Hz). The Tag Heuer Monaco 24 Chronograph CAL5110FC6265 was Introduced in a limited edition in 2010; the concept watch was shown at BaselWorld in 2009. The dial’s vertical blue and orange stripes reference the Gulf livery on the legendary Porsche 917K that Steve McQueen drove in the movie “Le Mans”.
