This is a Titanium Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 25721TI.OO.1000TI.05. It has an integral Titanium link bracelet, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, hooded integral lugs, octagonal fixed bezel with 8 screws, and bracelet are brushed/polished. It has a solid case back secured with 8 screws. The screwed down chronograph pushbuttons and winding crown have black rubber cladding, and there is a tachymeter scale to 500 UPH around the perimeter. The dial is silver with the tapestry "waffle" design texture, with large luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, luminous filled baton hands, and a central sweep chronograph hand. There are three silver recessed subsidiary dials, including a running small seconds dial at the 12 o'clock position, a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and a 12-hour dial at 6. A date aperture window is at 3 o'clock underneath a 2.5x Cyclops magnifying lens. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, with a power reserve of 40-hours. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic self-winding Audemars Piguet caliber 2326/2840 movement is rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 54 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a 21K gold rotor that oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). Audemars Piguet produced the first Royal Oak in 1972, with a custom Jaeger LeCoultre movement designed by the brilliant horologist Gerald Genta.
