There is an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel double deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. There is an oversized screw-down winding crown with "Louis Moinet – 1806" enamel medallion, and there is a round push button at the 10 o'clock position that activates the split-second rattrapant. There are two unique "flip-up" chronograph push button levers; the one at 2 o'clock starts and stops the chronograph, and the lever at 4 o'clock resets it. A large screwed steel porthole on the case band at 9 o'clock holds a genuine fragment of the Dhofar 459 lunar meteorite to honor Jules Verne's vision of flight to the moon.
