More about Master Geographic 18K Rose Gold First Series

This is an 18k yellow gold Jaeger LeCoultre Master Geographic World Time 169.1.92. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18k yellow gold double deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a winding crown at 3 o'clock for setting the time of the two time zones, and the crown at 10 o'clock is for selecting the alternate second city. A corrector for the date is at the 2 o'clock position, and it has a solid case back secured with 4 screws, and engraved with "GEOGRAPHIQUE – JAEGER-LECOULTRE – 169.1.92," a water resistant symbol, and hallmarks. The 38mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned fluted lugs, and stepped rounded bezel, are polished. The dial has a brushed silver stepped down center, with applied faceted gold baton hour markers and minute/second indices around a plain silver perimeter reserve. It has blued steel epee hands with luminous inserts, and a blued center sweep second hand. There is a recessed subsidiary dial at 2 o'clock with a radial date, and there is a recessed round second time zone with an AM/PM subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock, with a smaller 24-hour time zone register at its 9 o'clock. A 45-hour power reserve arch is between 9 and 12 o'clock, and there is an arched cut on the perimeter reserve between 11 and 1 o'clock for the GMT 23-city ring. It's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet, and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Jaeger LeCoultre Master Geographic World Time 169.1.92 has a mechanical automatic self-winding JLC caliber 929/3 movement. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 36 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, a ball-bearing mounted central rotor with circular graining. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Jaeger LeCoultre Master Geographic World Time 169.1.92 was introduced in 1990, and it was produced until 1999.
