This is a titanium Panerai Luminor Submersible, PAM00170. It has an integral Panerai titanium link bracelet with a double depoloyant clasp, and a scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It has a screw-down solid engraved case back, and the patented Panerai winding crown with a protective security lever for winding the watch underwater. The counter - clockwise rotating bezel is for professional divers, with a graduated scale for measuring the duration of immersions/decompression; it has a ratchet click at minute intervals. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, bracelet, and bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is anthracite grey with luminescent pearl hour markers, and luminescent Arabic numerals at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. There is a subsidiary dial at 9 o'clock that displays the constant seconds. The date aperture window is at 3 o'clock underneath a circular magnifying bubble. The hands are all stainless steel with luminescent tritium inserts. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. It was tested and certified a Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC). The 15.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber OP III movement is rhodium-plated, with oeil-de-perdrix and distinctive Panerai embellishment, including Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges. It's constructed with 21 jewels, an Incabloc® anti-shock device, and a personalized oscillating weight. It has a straight-line lever escapement, a Glucydur monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. It has an index regulator, and a hacking seconds mechanism. The movement oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This Panerai Luminor Submersible reference PAM 170 watch was made in a limited edition of 300 examples.
