This is a stainless steel Zenith El Primero Chronograph 02.0501.400. It has a stainless steel Zenith jubilee-style link bracelet with a triple deployment folding clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. There is a snap-on exhibition sapphire display case back engraved around the rim with "WATER RESISTANT 100M – MANUFACTURE ZENITH – STAINLESS STEEL – SWISS MADE," and the reference number "02.0501.400." It has rounded rectangular chronograph pushbuttons, and a push/pull winding crown. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, lapidated downturned lugs, bracelet, and stepped rounded bezel are polished. The dial is black with luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and triangle indices at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. It has luminous steel epee hands, a center sweep chronograph seconds hand, and there is a minute/one-tenth second track. A tachymeter scale to 400 UPH surrounds the perimeter, and there is a date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock. There are three recessed black subsidiary dials including a running seconds indicator at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute register at 3 o'clock. It has a 52-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet. The 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Zenith El Primero Chronograph 02.0501.400 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Zenith caliber 400 Z movement that's rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at 36,000 vph (5Hz). This Zenith El Primero Chronograph 02.0501.400 was introduced in 2000 and was produced until 2009.
