Potential customers who are as yet unfamiliar with our firm and its reputation may have some concerns in transacting business for the first time. Some basic questions may occur to them:

How can I be sure I get the watch I ordered?

Are the serial numbers intact?

Do you ship overseas?

We encourage you to contact us regarding these or any other questions you might have.   Some watch terminology can be highly technical or unclear to the new customer or casual browser at our store or web site.   Our patient staff is more than happy to describe or explain the features of any watch.

We are pleased that many of our customers are willing to provide testimonials to their good experience with European Watch Company, and we would appreciate additional comments by mail or email from our friends clientele.

I have been looking at watches on the net for some time and after much consideration and with a fair degree of concern I decided to buy a watch from EWC even though it was 10,000 miles from where I live in SYDNEY AUSTRALIA and I had never bought over the net or given my credit card to someone I did not know or could see.

My decision was based on the following.

A. They operate from a shop not a P O box or a home address.

B. Over the months I logged onto their site[ very good and clear] I saw a strong flow of stock coming in and being sold.

C My several emails were answered promptly by the owner.

E They offered several ways of payment.

E Gut instinct.

My watch was despatched within 3 hours of purchase and as it was sent by FEDEX I could actually follow its progress from Boston to Sydney.
The watch arrived at my home in less than 4 working days and as with all watches it is not till you strap in on your wrist that you can see if your first impressions of a photo are right.
My watch looks and feels great.
I have no hesitation in recommending European Watch Company
to any collector or someone just looking for a great watch at a good price.
Why pay retail?
Again my thanks to all concerned and I hope to buy another some day.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find a Patek Philippe Jumbo Nautilus available on the European Watch Company site.  The 5711/1A is
next to impossible to find, and when I have seen one elsewhere it has been at a higher price for a timepiece in a lesser condition.  Having previously bought, sold and traded numerous watches with EuropeanWatch Company it was without hesitation that I purchased the  Nautilus.
  Albert and staff have always been professional, fair and  informativein all transactions and exchanges.  The level of trust I  have in EWC is unparalleled by any other vendor.

The Nautilus arrived exactly as described and is a marvelous example of the craftsmanship at Patek Philippe.  I wholeheartedly recommend European Watch Company to anyone looking for integrity and a great staff to back up the sale.  A purchase at EWC doesn't end when the
watch leaves the premises.  Albert and team are always there to back up the relationship with responses to questions and advice on the care
and maintenance of the watch.

Time's too short to measure with a cheap watch.

Yesterday I received a new automatic Blancpain perpetual calendar, flyback chronograph with moon phase in stainless steel on an X71 bracelet (an 2585F-1130-71 - what a combination of complications!).  As usual European Watch Company delivered an exception watch at an exceptional value.

Albert and Lina personally ensured that the watch was best suited to me and my lifestyle by discussing all the features available on the watch and possible alternatives that may have been of interest.  I greatly appreciate their guidance and expertise.

I am delighted with my purchase and equally as important, confident that I have received this superlative time piece at both a great price and backed up by the integrity of European Watch Company.  I will enjoy it and an ongoing relationship with European Watch Company for years to come.

Buying a watch using the internet is a new experience for me, and to tell
the truth I was apprehensive about doing it.  I shouldn't have been! You and
your staff were  very courteous and answered all my questions and concerns.
You had exactly the one I was looking for, the JLC Master Perpetual, and it
arrived in perfect condition.  Your description of "like new" was
conservative - it looks new to me! I am very happy with the transaction -
your price was fair, as was your trade-in for my Rolex.

 I am not a collector, but I can appreciate a fine watch.  I am looking
forward to years of enjoyment of this watch on my wrist.  I am certainly
going to recommend you to all of my friends.

 Having gone to MIT myself, I do find myself in Boston occasionally.  Next
time I am there I will definitely visit the store.

I just received my A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Up and Down watch. In its simple elegance, it is

I check your excellent website often and am always impressed with the wide variety and

had in front of me this so wonderful watch  JAEGER LECOULTRE , which was
exactly the one on the picture. It was  totally what I was expected for !! Our

I want to thank you for the truly professional service during my recent purchase.
It is easy to get great reports when the customer is happy and the product is perfect,
but I say that the real mark of a first rate merchant is how he handles the customer when
the purchase does not go perfectly and there is a problem with the product, as was my
case.  Tony was very helpful with his initial recommendations, but when I called back
stating that the problem was still persisting  he quickly told me to return the watch and
it was quickly replaced.
The fact that all of this was arranged via telephone is even more encouraging, as I am a
pilot and was calling from several locations outside of the U.S. during this time.

  I received my Patek Phillippe Calatrava watch today and I am absolutely delighted with it. The condition of the watch is superb and the new alligator strap with Patek Philippe buckle really sets the watch off. It is also excellent to have the leather box and even the outer cardboard box supplied with the watch.
   
  I work in investment banking and with corporate finance clients and customer service is absolutely paramount. I particularly enjoyed discussing the details of the watch with you over the telephone and the whole experience in dealing with you has been excellent. Thank you for answering all my questions about the delivery dates. I whole heartedly recommend your ethos and your business style.
   
  I also find your website to be most interesting and Albert's personal collection of watches is fascinating.

As usual, many thanks for your patience and assistance today.  I lookforward to receiving the Rolex TOG.

I see that your inventory has dramatically changed in the past few days.  Many watches gone (sold I assume) and many on hold.  I'm pleased to see your online business become so successful.  You work very hard to provide an excellent quality, with an accurate description and a fair price.  That's a tough combination to beat. I'm sure all of us who have purchased watches from you tell all our friends and our "watch" acquaintances.

I'm frequently asked how to buy a used watch.  There's the long  answer that speaks to how to determine a genuine brand vs. a  "replica", how to gauge the condition, whether to buy with or without  papers, etc. etc. etc.  -  and then there's the short answer, "Buy  from Albert at European Watch Company in Boston".  That's really a  much simpler and far better answer.  You will also never have any  doubts about the quality, the value, nor the condition of the watch.

Dear Albert, et. al.,

This week has been one of the worst in recent memory and I could write a country song about all the events that have taken place...wife sick, gave it to me, vacation scheduled but can't make it due to killer flu and to finish it off my dog died...if my wife takes the Range Rover and runs off with the gardener it would be a national hit.

The biggest hit and most saving moment was the receipt of my new Zenith Chronomaster.  I have lost myself in testing its accuracy with and without chronograph running just to see if it losses more time due to any added
burden on the mechanism.  I am easily amused I know, but any escapism was sorely welcomed.

Thank you for your remarkable service and speedy turnover.  Everything is precise and functioning as it should.  Original box and paper work with COSC Certificate was pristine and arrived when promised.  This is one of four exceptional pieces I have received from you and each experience has been made better than the previous.

Thank your entire staff on my behalf for their professionalism and patience.  Surf your site regularly and enjoy keeping an eye on amazing creations but I really appreciated you finding specific items like the JLC Grande Date.  Thanks for everything once again and I look forward to working with you in the future.  Hope someday to get to Boston and actually meet everyone face to face.

It was a great pleasure meeting with you Friday and I enjoyed our transaction.
The PP 5035 is a beautiful watch and I look forward to years of ownership.    
Like most of your customers, I swap, trade, and sell in to and out of watches all the time, always maintaining a large collection.  For instance when I first obtained that 3919 Calatrava, it was with the intention of later trading it on.
  However, there are not many watches that the 5035 can be traded for, so I am pleased to wear it for years, I hope!

As for  the trade....any private collector, just like trading a car, is better off selling on their own and then paying cash for a new watch, but, as it was, I was pleased with the deal and am thinking of selling off my Rolex.

One strange note:  after leaving your shop, my Wife and I walked the Newberry Street area and later visited Tonneau and Alpha-Omega, to browse the "latest and greatest" new watch lines. But there was NOTHING in either store to compare with what I had on my wrist...finer than anything either store had for sale.

Now that we have met "in person", perhaps, in the future we may work more trades;  in the past, I have merely bought from you, but not traded.
