This is a platinum A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Flyback, 403.035. It has an alligator leather strap and a matching platinum deployant buckle. The 39mm diameter solid three-body case, rounded bezel, and downturned lugs are polished and brushed, with a sapphire crystal and display sapphire display case back secured by 6 screws. The chronograph with flyback function has rectangular pushbuttons as well as a button for correcting the date at 10 o'clock. The dial is black oxidized pure silver with applied 18K white gold radial Roman numerals and luminous dot and baton index hour markers. A subsidiary silver dial for the seconds is between 9 and 10 o'clock, and another for the instantaneous 30-minute register is between 2 and 3 o'clock. There is an outer graduation and 1/5 seconds track with 5 minute/seconds Arabic index markers, and the outermost track has a tachometer scale. A double window for the large date is at 6 o'clock, and there are luminous 18K white gold alpha hands and a central chronometer hand. It's water resistant to 30 meters, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The Lange manual winding caliber L 951.1 movement is made of Glashütte 3/4 plate in German silver with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 40 jewels, 4 screw-mounted 14K gold chatons, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a swan-neck micrometer regulator. It has a hacking mechanism, and a hand-engraved balance bridge.
