More about Annual Calendar Power Reserve Grey Dial Platinum

This is a solid platinum Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5056 P. It has a curved, stepped three-body case with concave lugs and a case band set at 6 o'clock with a top Wesselton diamond. It has a screwed-down transparent case back with a sapphire crystal. The dial is slate gray with applied white gold Roman numerals with luminous insets and luminous white gold feuille hands, including a white sweep seconds hand. There is a minute/second outer track. A subsidiary dial for the day of the week is at 9 o'clock, and a dial for the month is at 3. The moon phase and the aperture for the date are at 6 o'clock, while the power reserve indicator is at 12. The leather strap has a platinum tang buckle. The calibre 315 movement is rhodium-plated with fausses cotes decoration and the quality mark of the Seal of Geneva. It has 37 jewels and a straight-line lever escapement, with the patented Patek Gyromax balance that compensates for cold, heat, isochronism, and is adjusted for 5 positions. There is a shock absorber, an 18K gold rotor, and a free-sprung flat balance spring. The case, dial, and movement are all signed. Patek received a patent for their annual calendar mechanism in 1996, and their annual calendar watch was elected the watch of the year at the Basel show. This watch requires only one adjustment every 365 days and was produced in 2006.
