This is an 18K white gold Breguet Marine Royale, reference 5847BB/12/5ZV. It has a composite rubber strap with an 18K white gold deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 7 screws, engraved with, "Horloger de la Marine – Breguet," and the reference number. It has a self-winding 12-hour alarm controlled by a rubber-rimmed crown on the reeded case edge at the 4 o'clock position. There is a protruding wave-shaped ratchet on the case at 3 o'clock that ensures the uni-directional rotation of the 18K white gold bezel, which has a satin/brushed finish, polished beveled edges, and notched minute markings with raised Arabic numerals every 5 minutes. There is a knurled wave-shaped alarm on/off lever on the case edge at the 8 o'clock position, with a circular indicator beneath the 12 o'clock position. The date indicator window is at 6 o'clock. The 45mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and gold bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is white gold with an engine-turned wave guilloche pattern, with applied gold Roman numeral hour markers on a brushed white gold reserve, luminous blued gold Breguet hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and a blue colored LuminNova minute/hour dot chapter ring at the center. Around the perimeter is a minute/one-fifth second scale with luminescent dot minute markers and diamond hour indices. A blue LuminNova arrow-tipped hand indicates the alarm time, and there is an alarm power reserve indicator arch at 10 o'clock. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, it has a 45-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 17.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Breguet caliber 519R movement is rhodium plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 36 Jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a monometallic balance.
