This is an 18k rose gold and black PVD-coated stainless steel Romain Jerome Moon Dust Red Mood Chronograph RJ.M.CH.003.01. It has a composite rubber strap with an 18k rose gold deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with crosshair symbols underneath the surface representing photographic targets. There are black PVD and gold crosshatched chronograph push buttons at 2 and 4 o'clock, and there is an oversized domed gold/black PVD winding crown. The pushers are set into two of four large, titanium star screwed gold "paws." The combination rose gold and carbon fiber bezel has tiny fragments from Apollo 11. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 10 titanium screws, and engraved around the perimeter is "ROMAIN JEROME-RJMCH00301-SWISS MADE." Inside the perimeter is "MOON DUST DNA-GOLD 750/STEEL/TITANIUM." The center medallion has a sculptural representation of the first footprint on the moon, it's marked "20 JULY 1969," and the edition number is of 1969 examples. The 46mm diameter solid gold and satin PVD three-body case, straight screwed lugs, and rose gold bezel, are polished. The dial is a hand-sculpted representation of the lunar surface in grey mineral that is infused with actual NASA moon dust. The hands are rose gold and skeletonized with luminous gold arrow pointers, and they're enhanced with “blue emission” SuperLumiNova. There is a gold center sweep chronograph hand with a skeletonized counter balance, and a recessed subsidiary crater includes a gold four-blade satellite solar panel hand with a luminous indicator for the running small seconds. There are twin heavy gold rimmed subsidiary dials, including a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute indicator is at 3 o'clock, both with gold/luminous hands. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 16.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Romain Jerome Moon Dust Red Mood Chronograph RJ.M.CH.003.01 has a mechanical automatic Romain Jerome calibre RJ001-CH1 movement. It's rhodium plated and constructed with 23 jewels, titanium screws, a straight-line lever escapement, and a shock absorber device. It includes a rose gold oscillating weight, and the mechanism vibrates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Romain Jerome Moon Dust Red Mood Chronograph RJ.M.CH.003.01 was introduced in 2011, in a limited edition of 1969 examples.
