This is a stainless steel Bell & Ross Vintage Chronograph 126xL. It has an integral stainless steel 3 link bracelet with a folding deployment clasp, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It has a pull-out signed winding crown, and round pump-style chronograph push buttons. There is a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with “SWISS MADE – WATER RESISTANT – 200M/660FT – ANTIMAGNETIC – STAINLESS STEEL,” and a serial number. The 42.5mm solid three-body oyster-style case, curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are brushed. The dial is black with luminous white Arabic numeral hour markers around a white minute/chronograph seconds scale with Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. It has a perimeter rehaut with a white 24-hour military chapter ring, luminous white steel wide sword hands, and there is a luminous white center sweep chronograph seconds hand with a diamond-shaped counterbalance. There is a quickset date aperture window between 4 and 5 o’clock, and it has twin white-ringed recessed black subsidiary dials with white Arabic numerals and markers, and white indicator hands, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 9 o’clock, and a running small constant seconds register is at the 3 o’clock position. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, it’s water resistant to 200 meters/650 feet, and the 15.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Bell & Ross Vintage Chronograph 126xL has a Bell & Ross caliber 301 (base ETA 2894-2) column wheel chronograph movement. It’s rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it’s constructed with 37 jewels, blued screws, an Incabloc anti-shock system, a vertical clutch, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes an Etachron regulation system, a Nivarox 1 hairspring, a hacking seconds device for precision time-setting, a monometallic balance, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
