More about Stainless Steel Calatrava Manual 'RAISED ENAMEL'

This is a vintage stainless steel Philippe Calatrava 3483. It's very rare with a leather strap, a stainless steel tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. It has a screw-down solid case back with the round Patek Philippe International customer sticker with the central Calatrava emblem; inside the case back is hand jeweled and engraved with "PATEK PHILIPPE & CO – SWISS – 3483," and a serial number. It has a pull out winding crown with a Calatrava symbol, and the 33.5mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lapidated lugs, and flat bezel are polished/brushed. The stainless steel case is in excellent original condition with sharp, defined edges. It has the original satine silver sunburst pattern dial, with white gold baton hour indices, white gold baton hands, and a center sweep seconds hand. The Patek Philippe signature is raised enamel. There is a perimeter dot minute/second track. It's water resistant, and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Philippe Calatrava 3483 has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 27 SC movement. It has the Geneva Quality hallmark, and it's rhodium plated, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance that's adjusted for heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and a micrometer regulator. The Patek Philippe Calatrava was introduced in 1932.
