This is an AISI 316L stainless steel Panerai Radiomir 1/8th Second Rattrapante Chronograph PAM00246. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel Panerai deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has round chronograph push buttons, a screw down fluted onion-shaped winding crown with a split seconds pusher on the top, and an exhibition sapphire display case back, and engraved around the perimeter with "OFFICINE PANERAI-100M-AUTOMATIC-STAINLESS STEEL." The 45mm cushion-shaped solid three-body case, polished removable wire loop lugs, and stepped bezel, are polished. It has a black dial with luminous baton hour indices and Arabic numerals at the half hours. It has luminous baton hands, a distinctive bright blue center sweep chronograph hand, and a railroad-style outer 60-minute 1/8 second scale with luminous white markings and Arabic numerals every five minutes/seconds. Around the perimeter flange is a tachymeter to 400 UPH with luminous white Arabic numerals. There are two recessed subsidiary dials, including a silver 1/8 second (foudroyante) dial at 9 o'clock with black Arabic numerals, and a bright blue indicator hand with a luminous insert, and there is a black 30-minute chronograph totalizer register with luminous white markers and a luminous "propeller" hand at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind. The 13.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Panerai Radiomir 1/8th Second Rattrapante Chronograph PAM00246 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Panerai caliber OP XXI (base ETA 7750) movement. It's rhodium plated with circular graining and Cotes de Geneve embellishment on the bridges. It's constructed with 40 jewels, a monometallic Glucydur balance, and an Incabloc anti-shock device.
