More about Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Co-axial SS

This is a stainless steel Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Co Axial Golf Edition 231.10.42.21.01.001. It has an integral stainless steel Omega link bracelet, and a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. It has a screw-down self-locking winding crown, and a screw-down exhibition sapphire display case back that's engraved on the polished perimeter with "CO-AXIAL ESCAPEMENT – SEAMASTER – AQUAT TERRA – 150M/500FT," and the Omega hallmark. The 41.5mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, bracelet, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The dial is black with green accents, and the "teak" concept patter vertical stripes (a reference to the wooden deck planking of luxury sailing ships). It has applied luminous steel faceted dart hour markers, and a perimeter minute/seconds scale with green Arabic numerals every five minutes. It has steel sword hands with luminescent inserts, an arrow tip on the minute hand, and a luminous green arrow-tipped center sweep seconds hand. There is a steel rimmed trapezoidal date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position, and it has a 60-hour power reserve at full wind. It's water resistant to 150 meters/500 feet, and it has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer (COSC) rating, and it's resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,000 gauss. The 13.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Omega Aqua Terra Co Axial Date 231.10.42.21.01.001 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Omega caliber 8500 movement that's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line Co-Axial lever escapement. It includes a self-compensating flat silicon balance spring with a free sprung-balance, and two barrels mounted in series. It has bidirectional automatic winding, and the bridges and the oscillating weight are embellished with Geneva waves in arabesque. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 25,200 vph. The Omega Aqua Terra Co Axial Date 231.10.42.21.01.001 was introduced in 2010.
