More about Orea Hand Wound SS

This is a stainless steel Chronoswiss Orea CH 1163. It has an alligator leather strap with a Chronoswiss stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the interior surface. It has a pull out winding crown with a sapphire cabochon tip, and a screw down exhibition sapphire display case back with anti-reflective coating. The 36.5mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned screwed lugs, and stepped and coin-edged bezel are polished. The dial is white enamel with painted black Roman numeral hour markers including a red accented XII, around a perimeter railway-style minute scale. It has blued Breguet-style hands, and there is a running small seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o'clock. It has a 46-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Chronoswiss Orea CH 1163 has a mechanical manually winding Chronoswiss caliber 111 (base Marvin 700) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, with the pallet lever, escapement wheel, and screws all polished. It's constructed with 17 jewels, an Incabloc shock absorber device, and a Nivarox 1 balance spring. It has an index regulator, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Chronoswiss Orea CH 1163 was introduced in 2002.
