This is a stainless steel Tudor Chronograph 79280. It has an integral stainless steel link bracelet with a double folding deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a protected screw down winding crown, screw down chronograph push buttons, and a solid screw down case back engraved with "TUDOR-GENEVE." The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and flat fixed timing bezel with a black Arabic numeral tachymeter scale to 500 UPH, is polished/brushed. The dial is satin silver with applied faceted baton hour indices and luminous dot hour markers, polished steel baton hands with luminous inserts, and a center sweep seconds steel chronograph hand with an arrow tip, around a perimeter black minute/one-fifth second chapter ring. There is a large date aperture window with a cyclops magnification lens at 3 o'clock, and there are three recessed white subsidiary dials with black markers, steel hands, and Arabic numerals, including a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at the 12 o'clock position, a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 12-hour totalizer is at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 40-hour power reserve at full wind. The 14.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Tudor Chronograph 79280 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber ETA/Valjoux 7750 movement. It's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance, and a shock absorber device. It includes a self-compensating flat balance-spring, an index regulator, and a hacking seconds device for precision time setting. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Tudor Chronograph 79280 was introduced in 1995.
