This is a stainless steel Breitling Navitimer 01, AB012312G756. It has a leather strap with a matching stainless steel Breitling deployant clasp. The 43mm diameter solid three-body case, knurled bidirectional revolving bezel, and lapidated lugs are polished with round chronograph/stopwatch pushbuttons. The Push/pull crown has two gaskets. The bezel is fitted with a circular slide rule underneath the crystal that can compute various airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times, and the conversion of miles into nautical miles or kilometers. There is an inner minute track, and the dial is two-tiered ivory white with luminous steel baton hour index markers and hands. There is a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both surfaces, and a sapphire display case back. The date aperture widow is at 4:30, and there is a red arrowhead central seconds hand with a polished steel Breitling logo counterweight at the end. There is a small seconds subsidiary dial at the 9 o'clock positions, a 30-minute register sub dial at 3, and a 12-hour dial at 6 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 70-hour power reserve. The 15.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The completely in-house built automatic self-winding Breitling caliber B01 movement is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 47 jewels, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. It has a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at 28,800 vph (4 Hz). This watch was produced in a limited edition of 2000 examples, with the edition number engraved on the edge of the case at the 9 o'clock position.
