This is a stainless steel Baume & Mercier Capeland Flyback Chronograph 10086. It has an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It has an oversize screw down winding crown, and round chronograph push buttons. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "CAPELAND – LIMITED EDITION – ONE OUT OF 250 – BAUME & MERCIER - GENEVE 1830 - SWISS – 50 M – STAINLESS STEEL," and a serial number. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and flat angled bezel, are polished/brushed. The dial is silver/grey with luminous white Arabic numeral hour markers around a white minute/one-fifth second chapter ring, with white Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. There is a telemeter scale around the perimeter flange with a red 3-ring tachymeter to 1000 UPH in the central part of dial, and Breguet-style steel feuille hands with skeletonized circular tips. It includes a steel center sweep chronograph seconds hand with a spade-shaped counter balance, and there is a date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock. There are twin subsidiary dials with black markers and Arabic numerals, and steel feuille indicator hands, including a 60-minute running seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer is at 3 o'clock. It has a 48-hour power reserve at full winding, and it's water resistant to 50 meters/165 feet. The 16.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Baume & Mercier Capeland Flyback Chronograph 10086 has a mechanical automatic self-winding La Joux-Perret caliber 8147-2 movement. It's rhodium plated with cotes de Geneve and fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 27 jewels, a shock absorber device, blued screws, and a straight-line lever escapement. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Baume & Mercier Capeland Flyback Chronograph 10086 was introduced in 2011 in a limited edition to 250 examples.
