This is a vintage c. 1969 stainless steel Hamilton Chrono-Matic Chronograph 11002-3. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a domed acrylic crystal. It has round chronograph pushbuttons at 2 and 4 o'clock, and the winding crown is at 9 o'clock. There is a solid brushed screw-down case back engraved with "SHOCK RESISTANT – ANTIMAGNETIC – STAINLESS STEEL – WATER RESISTANT 3ATM," and the reference number "11002-3." The inside of the anti-magnetic case back is engine turned. The 37mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. The "Panda" dial is white with two black subsidiary dials. It has steel baton hands with luminous inserts, a center sweep chronograph hand, and black baton hour markers and luminous yellow dot hour indices around an outer minute/one-fifth second track. There is a date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position, and a black tachymeter chapter ring to 400 UPH around the perimeter. There is a 12-hour register at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute totalizer is at 3 o'clock. The 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Hamilton Chrono-Matic Chronograph 11002-3 has a mechanical manual winding Hamilton caliber 11 chronograph movement that's rhodium-plated. It's constructed with17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance, a self-compensating blued steel flat balance spring, and a micro-rotor housed within the movement.
