This is a stainless steel Nomos Ahoi Atlantik NO552. It has a black textile strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown with a crown guard, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved with "GESCHUTZTES MODELL AHOI – EDELSTAHL – WASSERDICHT BIS 20 ATM" and a serial number. The 40mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and rounded bezel are polished. The dial is "Atlantic blue" with luminous cream Arabic numerals on the even hours, luminous baton indices, and luminous squares around a perimeter luminous minute scale. The steel hands have SuperLuminova inserts, and there is a recessed black running small seconds subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position with a crimson red indicator hand. It's water resistant to 200 meters/660 feet, and it has a 43-hour power reserve at full wind. The 10.6mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Nomos in-house caliber Epsilon movement is made from Glashütte three-quarter plate. It's rhodium-plated with Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage. It's constructed with 26 jewels, Glashütte stopwork, a bidirectional winding rotor, and an Incabloc shock protection device. It includes the Nivarox 1A balance spring that's adjusted to six positions, a stop-seconds mechanism, tempered blued screws, and a ratchet and duplex wheel with Glashütte sunburst embellishment. The Nomos Ahoi Atlantik NO552 was introduced in 2015.
