This is a stainless steel Artisans De Geneve Tribute to Daytona 6263 Series II "Big Red". It's based on the Rolex Daytona 116520, with a stainless steel Oyster link bracelet, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has screw-down chronograph push buttons, a screw down winding crown with the Rolex crown emblem, and an exhibition sapphire display case back engraved "LES ARTISANS DE GENEVE – MANUFACTURE EN SUISSE," and a serial number. The 39mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, bracelet, and fixed steel bezel have a hand-done satin 12H/6H finish. There is a silver "Big Red" style dial with black sub-dials that's hand painted, requiring 9 craftsmen 78 hours of work to complete. It has a fixed flat black bakelite bezel with a tachymeter scale to 200 UPH, and an outer minute/one-fifth second chapter ring with applied steel baton hour indices with luminous pips. There are remade Daytona 6263 faceted baton diamond polished steel hands with luminous inserts, and there is a steel center sweep chronograph hand with an arrow tip indicator. There are three recessed black guilloche subsidiary dials with white markers and Arabic numerals, and white indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 6 o'clock, a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 48-hour power reserve at full wind. The 13.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Artisans De Geneve Tribute to Daytona 6263 Series II "Big Red" is constructed using a modified automatic Rolex caliber 4130 movement movement that's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment (The original 1968 Daytona had a Rolex 722-1 (base Valjoux 72) movement). It has 17 jewels, an anti-shock device, a straight-line lever escapement, a 3 N gold balance bridge, and a 22K stepped gold rotor weight segment. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to three positions, a self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring, and Microstella regulating screws. The mechanism oscillates at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz). The Artisans De Geneve Tribute to Daytona 6263 Series II "Big Red" was introduced in 2016 and is produced to order.
