This is a titanium Omega Speedmaster HB-SIA GMT Chronograph SOLAR IMPULSE 321.90.44.52.01.001. It has an integral titanium bracelet with a double deployant clasp, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings on both sides. It has a solid case back etched with the logo patch of the Solar Impulse HB-SIA project. It includes round chronograph pushbuttons, a screw-down protected winding crown, and a black bezel with a tachymeter scale for 1000 units. The 44.25mm diameter solid three-body case, and bracelet are brushed. The black carbon fiber dial is black with luminescent baton hour markers and dot indexes on a 24-hour GMT ring. It has luminous baton hands and a center GMT time zone hand with an "airline" tip indicator, and a center sweep chronograph hand with a return-to-zero function. A small seconds subsidiary dial is at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute totalizer sub dial is at 3 o'clock. The 12-hour chronograph sub dial is at 6 o'clock, and there is a date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a power reserve of 55-hours at full wind. It includes the Certified Official Swiss Chronometer (COSC) certificate, and the 16mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Omega Co-Axial caliber 3603 movement has a column-wheel chronograph mechanism, and it's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes decoration and gold-plated engravings. It's constructed with 37 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. This OMEGA Speedmaster chronograph honors the Solar Impulse project, with its goal of flying around the globe powered only by energy from the sun.
