This is a stainless steel vintage c. mid-1960's Heuer Autavia Chronograph Second Execution 3646H. It has a shell cordovan strap with a stainless steel Heuer tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. It includes a screw down winding crown, and round "mushroom" chronograph push buttons. It has a solid screw down case back engraved with "AUTAVIA – HEUER – STAINLESS STEEL CHRONOGRAPH – WATERPROOF – GUARANTEED 330 FT UNDER WATER." Inside the case back is "ED. HEUER & CO. – SWISS – STAINLESS STEEL," and there are two Heuer emblem stamps. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, straight lugs, and bidirectional knurled rotating flat bezel, are brushed/polished. The black bezel has silver Arabic numeral hour scale with a luminous triangle at the 12. It has a black dial with luminous dauphine hands, a luminous center sweep chronograph hand, applied faceted baton hour indices, and luminous hour pips around a 1/5 seconds perimeter scale. There are twin recessed silver "pie tin" subsidiary dials with concentric circle guilloche, black Arabic numerals, and black indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 9 o'clock, and a 30/45-minute chronograph totalizer is at 3 o'clock. It has a power reserve of approximately 39 hours at full winding, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Heuer Autavia Chronograph Second Execution 3646H has a mechanical manual winding Valjoux caliber 92 column wheel "oscillating pinion" chronograph movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 17 jewels, an anti-shock device, and a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz).
