More about Chronomat Evolution Chronograph SS Anthracite Dial

This is a stainless steel Breitling Chronomat Evolution A13356. It has an integral Breitling stainless steel Pilot link bracelet with double deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant anti-glare sapphire crystal. The unidirectional rotating bezel has quarter-hour rider tabs marked with Arabic numeral markers at 15, 30, and 45 minutes, with a dot index at 60 minutes, and indented minute divisions. There is a solid polished screw-down case back engraved with "CHRONOGRAPHE CERTIFIE CHRONOMETRE – MANUFACTURE EN SUISSE ETANCHE 300M – A13356," and in the center in high relief is 'BREITLING – 1884," and the Breitling wings emblem. It has round screw-down chronograph push buttons and a guard protected domed screw-down winding crown. The 44mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and flat bezel are polished. The dial is black with applied steel split baton hour markers with luminous inserts, baton hands with luminous inserts, and a center sweep chronograph hand with a luminous arrow tip. There is an outer 100-minute/one-fifth seconds track with Arabic numerals every five minutes, and there is a perimeter tachymeter scale to 500 UPH. It has a steel rimmed square date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position. There are three recessed black subsidiary dials including a running seconds register at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph dial at 12 o'clock, all with luminous Arabic numeral markers and steel hands. It has a Certified Official Superlative Chronometer rating (COSC), and it's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet. It has a 42-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 17mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Breitling Chronomat Evolution A13356 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Breitling caliber 13 chronograph movement (based on the Valjoux 7750 engine). It's rhodium plated and it's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz). The Breitling Chronomat Evolution A13356 was introduced in 2003.
