More about H. Moser & Cie 348-901 Endeavour Perpetual Moon Platinum Blue Dial

This is a 950 platinum H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Moon 348-901. It has an alligator leather strap with a 950 platinum double folding clasp with an engraved Moser logo, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a platinum pull out winding crown, and a corrector for the moon phase at 9 o'clock on the left-side case band. There is an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 4 screws, engraved around the polished perimeter with "H. MOSER & CIE," a serial number, and hallmarks underneath the lugs. The 40.8mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and concave rounded bezel are polished. There is a midnight blue fume dial with a sunburst pattern, applied faceted baton hour markers, dauphine hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and an am/pm indicator with the small hand in the center. The 8 phases of the moon as seen from the Northern hemisphere are displayed in a large subsidiary window at 6 o’clock, which can be adjusted and read accurately for 1000 years. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 168-hour (7-day) power reserve at full wind, with a register on the movement side that's visible through the sapphire case back. The 11.1mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Moon 348-901 has a mechanical manual winding H. Moser & Cie caliber 348 movement. It's rhodium plated and constructed with 26 jewels, twin barrels, and a shock absorber device. It includes an Interchangeable Moser escapement, Moser teeth for all wheels and pinions, screwed gold mounts, and a Straumann Hairspring® with a stabilized Breguet overcoil. There is a gold pallet fork and escapement wheel, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 6 positions, a hacking seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz).

The H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Moon was introduced in 2010.
