This is a stainless steel IWC Portuguese Jubilee 125th Anniversary Limited Edition 5441. It has an alligator strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and an acrylic crystal. It has an exhibition acrylic display case back, with gold engraved letters on one of 5 bridges recognizing the 175th anniversary of the company, "International Watch Co. – 1868-1993. The middle bridge says, "Cal. 9828 - Nineteen Jewels - Adj. to 5 positions." The 42mm diameter solid three-body case, rounded bezel, and downturned lugs are polished/brushed. The dial is white with applied rose gold Arabic numeral hour markers, and luminous dots around a perimeter minute track. It has rose gold feuille hands, and there is a silver guilloche constant seconds subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position. It has a 48-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This IWC Portuguese Jubilee 125th Anniversary Limited Edition 5441 has a mechanical manual winding IWC caliber 9828 movement that's rhodium plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 19 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance with compensation screws on the arms, adjusted to 5 positions. There is a swan-neck regulator, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at 18,000 vph. The IWC Portuguese Jubilee 125th Anniversary Limited Edition 5441 was released in 1993 in an edition of 1000 examples to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the company.
