The 35mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and thin rounded bezel, are polished. The dial is galvanized and silver-plated with black Roman numeral hour markers (Nomos uses "IIII" instead of "IV") and black stick baton indices, around a perimeter railroad-style minute scale. It has tempered blued steel baton hands, and there is a recessed silver running small seconds subsidiary dial at the 6 o'clock position, also with a tempered blued steel indicator hand, and black markers. It has a 43-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 6.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Nomos Ludwig 205 has a mechanical manual winding Nomos caliber Alpha movement. It's made from Glashutte three-quarter plate, and it's rhodium plated with cotes de Geneve embellishment, Glashutte ribbing, NOMOS perlage, and Glashutte stopwork. It's constructed with 17 ruby bearings, a stop seconds mechanism for precision time setting, blued screws, a straight-line lever escapement, and a Triovis fine adjustment regulator. It includes an Incabloc shock protection device, decentralized seconds and a monometallic Nivarox 1A balance spring adjusted to six positions. It has a ratchet and crown wheel with Glashütte sunburst embellishment. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Nomos Ludwig 205 was introduced in the 2000's.
