This is an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava 5196J-001. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K yellow gold tang buckle, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a solid snap-on case back, and the crown is yellow gold with the Calatrava logo. The 37mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and angled bezel are polished/brushed. It has a two-shaded silvered dial with yellow gold applied Breguet Arabic numerals, and yellow gold Dauphine hands. There is an outer dot minute track, and a subsidiary constant seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 25 meters/80 feet, and it has a 44-hour power reserve. The 8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Patek Philippe Calatrava 5196J-001 has a mechanical manual winding Patek Philippe caliber 215 PS movement that's stamped with the Patek Philippe quality seal. It's rhodium-plated, with fausses cotes embellishment, and it has a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 18 jewels, 130 components, a straight-line lever escapement, and a Gyromax balance that's adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating free-sprung Spiromax balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz). The Patek Philippe Calatrava 5196J-001 was introduced in 2004.
