This is an 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Celestial Sky Chart Grand Complication 5102J-001. It has an alligator leather strap with the original 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The case band is embossed in high relief with an interlocking repetitive Calatrava pattern. The blue dial and sky chart has gold star constellations and a superimposed compass comprised of three crystal disks, with applied gold directions, and skeletonized white feuille hands. There are gold perimeter Roman hour graduations, and there is an aperture for the moon phases. It has the orbit of the moon as well as the time of the meridian passage of Sirius and the Moon, which was designed by the Patek Philippe engineers who used sophisticated computerization to produce the single precise ratio out of 25 trillion ratio combinations.
