It has a screw down signed winding crown, and a solid screw down case back engraved with "AVIATION TYPE – STAINLESS STEEL – AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT – WATER RESISTANT: 100M/325FT – SWISS MADE," a serial number, and a single screw that says, "DO NOT UNSCREW." THE 42MM by 42mm square two-body solid case with four face screws, straight screwed lugs, and stepped round bezel, are satin/polished. It has a black dial with SuperLumiNova lume, applied steel Arabic numeral hour markers at 3, 9, and 12 o'clock, and steel baton hour indices around a white luminous perimeter minute/second scale. It has a pointed baton minute hand with a luminous insert, a fat sword hour hand with a luminous tip, and there is a center sweep second hand. There is a small date aperture window between 4 and 5 o'clock, and a recessed circular steel-ringed power reserve indicator with white markers, a red warning sector, and a steel indicator hand at 7 o'clock. It has a 42-hour power reserve, it's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and the 11mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Bell & Ross Aviation Power Reserve BR 03-97-S has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber BR-CAL.307 (base ETA caliber 2897) movement. It's rhodium plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 21 jewels, blued screws, an anti-shock device, and a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions.
