This is a stainless steel Nomos Ludwig Automatic Date 271. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull out winding crown and a snap down exhibition sapphire display case back engraved with "LUDWIG 4536." The 40mm diameter solid two-body case, downturned lugs, and rounded bezel, are polished. It has a galvanized, white silver-plated dial with tempered blue steel hands, and black Roman numeral and baton index hour markers around a railway-style minute scale. There is a date aperture window at the 6 o'clock position, as well as a recessed silver subsidiary dial with black markers, and a blued indicator hand for the constant running small seconds. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 42-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 8.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Nomos Ludwig Automatic Date 271 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Nomos caliber Zeta DUW 5101 movement. It's rhodium plated Glashutte ¾ plate with Cote de Geneve and NOMOS perlage embellishment, and it's constructed with 26 jewels, blued screws, an index regulator, and an anti-shock system. It includes a ratchet and duplex wheel with Glashutte sunburst embellishment, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 6 positions. There is a Nivarox 1A balance spring, a stop seconds device for precision time setting, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Nomos Ludwig Automatic Date 271 was introduced in 2014.
