It has a leather strap with a matching stainless steel buckle, a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both surfaces, and a sapphire display case back. The chronograph stopwatch has round pushbuttons, a 30-minute silver-rimmed subsidiary dial at the 3 o'clock position, a red date aperture window at 6 o'clock, and a silver-rimmed running seconds dial at 9. It has a red-tipped central seconds counter hand. The 42mm diameter solid three-body case and bezel are polished with fine brushed finished edges and lugs. The dial is black with a black outer seconds indicator rim, a tachymeter inner track, faceted polished luminous hands, and applied luminous baton hour indexes. It's water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet, and it has a 50-hour power reserve at full wind. The 13.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Zenith El Primero Chronograph 03.2040.400/21.C496 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Zenith El Primero caliber 400B (base El Primmer caliber 400) column wheel chronograph movement. It's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 31 jewels, and 326 components. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. There is a shock absorber mechanism, a self-compensating Breguet balance spring, and an index regulator. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 36,000 mph (5 Hz).
