This is an 18K yellow gold A. Lange & Sohne Limited Edition 112.021. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K yellow gold tang buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. It includes a pull-out signed winding crown and an exhibition sapphire display crystal case back secured with 6 screws and it's engraved with "A. LANGE & SOHNE – GLASHUTTE SA," hallmarks and an edition number. The 38.5mm diameter round solid two-body case, curved lugs, and convex bezel, are polished/brushed. The gold dial is a combination of three sunray guilloche designs starting with a large off-center time dial at 3 o'clock with sunray gold guilloche, applied gold Roman numerals at the quarter hours, diamond-shaped hour indices, and dauphine sword indicator hour and minute hands. There is a small subsidiary dial with black markers, a blued indicator hand, and sunray guilloche. There is a double gold-framed date aperture window at 1 o'clock, and between 2 and 4 o'clock is a fan-shaped up/down power reserve with a gold dauphine indicator hand and black markers. It has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Limited Edition 112.021 has a mechanical manual winding Lange caliber 901.1 movement that's unique to this watch. It has several gold components including the lever and escape wheel, the hand-engraved balance, and the lever and escape wheel cocks. It has a shock absorber system, 53 jewels, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The A. Lange & Sohne Limited Edition 112.021 was produced in a limited edition of 100 examples between 1998 and 2001 to commemorate the opening of a new production building for A. Lange and Sohne.
