This is an 18k rose gold A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Tourbillon 704.032. It has an alligator leather strap with a rose gold deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It has a screw down winding crown, a quick-date corrector button on the case edge at the 10 o'clock position and it has an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws. It's engraved with "A.LANGE & SOHNE – GLASHUTTE SA.," a serial number, hallmarks, and an edition number from 250 examples. The 38.5mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and rounded bezel, are polished. The dial is rhodium silver with 18k rose gold sword hands. There is an offset time dial with applied rose gold Roman numerals on the quarter hours, and diamond-shaped hour indices around an outer black minute scale. Inset into the time dial between 7 and 8 o'clock is a recessed silver running small seconds register with a rose gold indicator hand. There is an up and down power reserve indicator arch around the perimeter from 2 to 4 o'clock with a rose gold sword indicator hand, and a shoe-shaped tourbillon aperture that displays the escapement is between 4:30 and 5 o'clock. A rose gold rimmed patented "big" date double aperture window is at the one o'clock position. It has a 72-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 10mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Tourbillon 704.032 has a mechanical manual winding A. Lange & Sohne caliber L961.1 movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes and Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and some hand engraving on the bridges. It's constructed with twin barrels mounted in series, 49 jewels, blued screws, a shock absorber device, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Tourbillon 704.032 was first introduced in 2000 and it was produced until 2002.
