This is a stainless steel Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 50th Anniversary Series III 2200A-1130-71. It has an integral Blancpain stainless steel link X71 bracelet with a folding deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal. It has a screw down solid case back engraved with "LIMITED EDITION – 1953-2003 – SERIES III," and an edition number. It's engraved "BLANCPAIN" on the left side case band. The 40mm diameter solid two-body case, gently curved lugs, bracelet, and flat black unidirectional rotating sapphire bezel with luminous Arabic minute markers at 15, 30, and 45 minutes and a diamond-shaped indicator at the 60 position, are polished/satin. It includes a luminous white perimeter minute scale, and there is a date aperture between the 4 and 5 o'clock position. It has a black dial with applied luminescent baton hour markers, luminous Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, and luminous polished steel Blancpain sword minute and hour hands, with a thin polished second hand with a luminous arrow indicator tip. It's water resistant to 300 meters/1000 feet, it has a 100-hour power reserve at full winding, and the 14mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 50th Anniversary Series III 2200A-1130-71 has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber 1151 movement that's rhodium-plated with fausses cotes embellishment. It has a shock absorber mechanism, and it's constructed with 28 jewels, 210 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, a micrometer regulator, and an 18K gold rotor. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz). The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 50th Anniversary Series III 2200A-1130-71 was introduced in 2003 in a limited edition of 150 example celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Fifty Fathoms series, which was divided into three separate series for North America, Europe, and Asia.
