This is a stainless-steel Blancpain Villeret Monopoussoir Single Button Chronograph 6185-1127-55B. It has an alligator leather strap with a folding stainless-steel deployment buckle and scratch resistant sapphire crystals. There is a pull-out winding crown with a signed single Monopoussoir button that starts, stops, and resents the stopwatch function on the top. It includes a snap down exhibition sapphire display crystal case back engraved with "VILLERET - No.," and there is a hallmark underneath the lower left-side lug. The 38mm diameter solid round three-body case, straight scalloped lugs, and stepped bezel, are polished. The dial is white with applied 18K white gold faceted rectangular hour markers around a black perimeter minute/1/5 second chronograph scale with Arabic numerals every five seconds to 60. It includes blued feuille leaf hour and minute hands, a stainless-steel center sweep chronograph second hand, and there is a date aperture window at 6 o'clock. It has three white subsidiary dials with black Arabic numerals and markers, and blued feuille leaf indicator hands including a 12-hour chronograph totalizer at 9 o'clock, a small running constant seconds register at 6 o'clock, a 30-minute chronograph counter at the 3 o'clock position. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a power reserve of 40-hours at full winding, and the 11.4mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Blancpain Villeret Monopoussoir Single Button Chronograph 6185-1127-55B has a mechanical automatic self-winding caliber M185 movement that's rhodium-plated plated with Cotes de Geneve embellishment. It's constructed with 37 jewels, 320 components, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a co-axial single button for the chronograph at 3 o'clock. The case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz). The Villeret model line is named for the village in the Bernese Swiss Jura where Jehan-Jacques Blancpain began his original workshop in 1735.
