This is a stainless steel Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate, 6651-1127-55B. It has an alligator skin strap with a stainless steel deployant buckle, and a scratch resistant "bombe" sapphire crystal. There is an exhibition sapphire crystal display case back. The 40mm diameter solid, ultra-slim three-body case, stepped bezel, and straight lugs are polished. The dial is matte silver with applied white gold radial Roman numeral hour markers, and white gold "feuille" hands. There is a sweep seconds hand and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters and the power reserve is 100 hours at full wind. The 9mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The automatic Blancpain caliber 1151 movement is rhodium-plated with fausses-côtes embellishment. It's constructed with, 28 jewels, 210 components, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, and 5 positions, a shock absorber mechanism, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring. The Villeret line harkens back to Blancpain's roots; it was named for the village in the Bernesse Jura of Switzerland where Jehan-Jacques Blancpain founded his small workshop upstairs in his house.
