This is an 18k rose gold Cartier Tank Collection Privee Monopoussoir 2846. It has an alligator leather strap with an 18K rose gold deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. This is a single button chronograph, and there is a cabochon sapphire that's set onto the octagonal winding crown. The brushed exhibition sapphire display case back is secured with 4 screws and it's engraved with "CARTIER – WATER RESISTANT – SWISS MADE," the reference number 2846, and the edition number of 100. There are also four screws in the sides of band. The 34mm by 42.5mm (including lugs) solid two-body square tonneau case, straight lugs, and flat curved bezel are polished. The dial is silver guilloche with blued Breguet-style hands and seconds hand, and black Roman numeral hour markers around a circular railway-style 60-minute/second chronograph track with Arabic numerals every five seconds. There are twin subsidiary dials with railway-style rings and blued hands, including a running seconds indicator at 9 o'clock, and a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock. The secret Cartier signature is at VII o'clock, and the 9.2mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This Cartier Tank Collection Privee Monopoussoir 2846 has a mechanical manual winding Cartier caliber 045 MC movement that's embellished with special Cartier decoration. It's rhodium-plated, and it's constructed with 22 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 34 x 34 mm. Thickness 9.5 mm.
