This is a Cartier Santos 100 XL W20121U2. It has composite rubber strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings. It has a protected octagonal pull out winding crown and a solid polished curved case back secured with 8 screws and engraved with "SANTOS 100 - CARTIER - AUTOMATIC – STAINLESS STEEL – WATER RESISTANT – 100M 330 FEET – 2658." The 35.6mm by 41mm tonneau-shaped solid curved case, straight screwed lugs, and flat curved bezel with 8 screws, are polished/brushed. The dial is silvered opaline with black sword hands with luminous inserts. It includes a blued center sweep second hand, and an inner minute/second scale. It has black Roman numeral hour markers, and the secret Cartier signature is on the VII. It has a 38-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The 10.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

This Cartier Santos 100 XL W20121U2 has a mechanical automatic self-winding Cartier caliber 076 (base ETA 2671) movement. It's rhodium plated with fausses cotes embellishment, and it's constructed with 25 jewels, an Incabloc shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It has a monometallic Glucydor balance, an Etachron fine adjustment system, and the mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
